Profile Picture SOP

1) Overview

This SOP describes the method for adding a profile picture to an existing contact in Whizrock. Due to system limitations, pictures cannot be uploaded directly after contact creation. Instead, this process uses a duplicate-and-merge method to associate the picture with the original contact.

Process Flow (Duplicate → Upload → Merge → Confirm)

Create Duplicate

New contact with same details as original

Upload Picture

Upload 512×512px JPG/PNG (under 2.5MB)

Merge Contacts

Keep original info, adopt new profile photo

Confirm

Check Smart List, Inbox, and side panel

2) Step-by-Step Procedure

  1. Go to the Contacts tab in Whizrock.
  2. Create a new contact using the same details as the existing customer.
  3. During creation, upload the profile picture (recommended: 512×512 pixels, JPG/PNG, max 2.5MB).
  4. Once created, merge the new contact with the original:
    • Keep the original contact’s information.
    • Adopt the profile picture from the new duplicate record.
  5. Confirm that the profile picture appears in supported areas (see section 4).

3) Important Limitations

  • Profile pictures cannot be added, updated, or changed after a contact is created natively in Whizrock.
  • Pictures only display in:
    • Contacts Smart List
    • Conversations Inbox (left contact list & right panel)
    • Right-side contact panel
  • No drag-and-drop or cropping available.
  • Not supported via API.

4) Where Profile Pictures Appear
